It has come to my attention that, despite the Lyons Press having dropped my '70s baseball book from their publication schedule many months ago, it's still popping up (albeit with a clunky title that was imposed upon it without my knowledge or approval) on Amazon and other online retail sites. I assume that, if you've pre-ordered it through one of these channels, you'll eventually get your money back; still, I'd like to apologize for any frustration or inconvenience that this unfortunate gaffe might have caused anyone.
That said, I am currently in negotiations with another publisher that wants to bring the book out (with the original title intact) sometime in 2010. I will let you know more when I know more...
