Hellooo! Anyone here? No, me neither. Been kinda preoccupied as of late, but "It's all good, Babe," as Tommy Lee repeatedly insisted in his sex tape with Pamela Anderson.
I'm now on the FINAL round of edits for my baseball book (now ostensibly due out in June via St. Martin's), got a lovely new lady in my life, and ShockHound is keeping me both stimulated and very, very busy. Just got back from interviewing Andrew from Wolfmother, whose new album sounds fucking incredible — if you like Wolfmother, of course. If you're Mike Patton, this record probably won't change your mind much...
And of course, I'm still chowing down on tacos and reviewing records on "Taco Tuesday" with my man Jay. Here's our salute to those brave astronauts from Apollo 11...
Sure, yeah, I know: Michael Jackson's still dead, and it's our civic/spiritual duty to watch his memorial service today. (One breathless radio reporter informed us this morning that no less than Lou Ferrigno is in the house at Staples Center. LOU FERRIGNO, people!)
But in case you feel like watching something else, here's this week's Taco Tuesday, wherein Jay and I discuss the relative virtues of the new All Time Low and Job For A Cowboy CDs, while the exterminator deals with the aftermath of Jay leaving his taco dishes out all week. Slob.
