Dan,
I look forward to reading your book (even though I barely missed the 70s myself), and hopefully we'll be able to share a beer next spring at Cubs camp. My father (60) and I (30) will be attending for the first time. Any suggestions for the two of us before we head to Arizona?

Yep - start doing windsprints NOW. And regular trips to the batting cage once you get closer to January won't hurt, either. You don't get a whole lotta BP time at camp, so I definitely regretted not getting my swing in gear before I showed up!
